Our Jewelry Durability and Finishes

Black Diamonds- New York's jewelry were made durable for daily wear. However, preventative care is recommended.

All our jewelry with solid gold finish are permanent. While our silver jewelry are electroplated with rhodium or finished with an e-coating- this finish is not permanent including all our jewelry with black rhodium or black gold finish. These finishes may wear off with frequent use. Plating longevity is very much dependent on the wearer and their skin pH level.
