STONES WE USE

NATURAL DIAMONDS – certified GIA, IGL, EGL, or DGI. Natural Diamonds are composed entirely of carbon atoms arranged in a very specific crystal structure. These are precious gemstones formed deep within the Earth over millions of years under extreme pressure and scorching heat. They are made of pure carbon, forged in the Earth's mantle. Unlike some crystals that can form quickly, natural diamonds take their time. It takes a staggering 1 to 3.3 billion years for the right conditions to occur and for these diamonds to develop. Their hardness makes them nearly scratch-proof, ideal for cutting tools and jewelry. The way light interacts with their crystal structure creates a dazzling sparkle and fire. Their rarity adds to their value and allure. In essence, natural diamonds are a beautiful testament to the immense power and timescales at work within our planet. These gems, formed under extraordinary conditions, have captivated people for centuries with their brilliance and enduring qualities.

CERTIFIED MOISSANITE- Made from silicon carbide (SiC), a compound of silicon and carbon. Our certified moissanites often exhibit even more fire (rainbow flashes of light) than diamonds due to their unique way of refracting light. Some may find it even brighter than a diamond. Very close in hardness to diamonds, 9.25 Mohs, making it a durable and suitable choice for everyday wear. Black Diamonds- New York moissanite will pass the diamond test. More brilliant than a diamond at a fraction of the cost.

BDNY DIAMONDS- These are our in-house diamonds. The newest masterpiece of our lab using the same process as our CVD Diamonds. As we were searching for an industrial substitute for conflict-free diamonds, we stumbled upon this beautiful stone– brighter, shinier, and even more mesmerizing than any diamond we laid our eyes upon. Superiorly cleaner and flawless than a mined diamond. BDNY Diamond has very similar physical properties to natural diamonds, full of fire and identical to the naked eye. Each piece is carefully crafted into a masterpiece. 

CVD DIAMONDS- Lab-grown diamonds full of fire. Atomically identical to mined diamonds, and are composed of pure crystalline carbon. These stones were carefully crafted to perfection. All our CVD Diamond collections are made affordable with the intent to make it available for everyone. CVD stones are usually VERY expensive and the only way for us to make it affordable is to have them at 9 mohs scale hardness without sacrificing their cut, fire, clarity, color and timeless brilliance.

HPHT Diamond (IGI Certified)- These are lab-grown diamonds created using a method called High Pressure, High Temperature. This process replicates the extreme conditions deep within the Earth where natural diamonds form. Imagine a tiny diamond seed is surrounded by a carbon source, then squeezed with extreme pressure (over 870,000 psi) and blasted with high heat (up to 1600°C). Under these conditions, the carbon atoms bond to the seed, slowly forming a new diamond crystal. This process is carefully controlled to create a flawless gem with the same brilliance and properties as a mined diamond. An HPHT diamond is virtually indistinguishable from a mined diamond in terms of its physical, chemical, and optical properties

SIMULATED DIAMONDS- Not mined diamonds but sparkle like one. It is difficult to distinguish the two with the naked eye. Each stone is cut to maximize the radiance with the intent to create a collectible custom piece. Polished with natural diamond polishing wheels- the exact process to polish high-quality natural stones. Expert diamond cutters guarantee that our Sona Simulated Diamonds are a cut above the rest. Premium stone with excellent cut, no one would know you did not spend a fortune. 

CREATED DIAMONDS - Not natural earthed diamonds but these are very expensive stones. The stones are made from zirconium dioxide that boasts fine color, no color mixing, and a superb cut, which results in a beautiful duplication of nature. 

NATURAL GEMSTONES - We offer natural gemstones including amethyst, citrine, garnet, ruby, sapphire, emerald, morganite, peridot, topaz, aquamarine rose quartz, and tourmaline. Plus many more.

ARE THESE REAL DIAMONDS AND WILL PASS THE DIAMOND TEST?
Yes. All our Natural Diamonds, CVD Diamonds, HPHT Diamonds, Certified Moissanite, and BDNY Diamonds will pass the diamond test. 

Our Simulated Diamonds and Created Diamonds are diamond imitators and will not pass the test. However, these are the BEST alternatives to natural diamonds. They look just the same, but they cost much less. At about only 1% of the cost of a diamond, you can take a stone that is equally beautiful and shining. Check our stone authenticity for more info.

DIAMOND CERTIFICATE
All our Natural Diamonds with 0.4 carats and up will come with a GIA certificate, IGI certificate for our CVD/HPHT Lab Diamonds, and GRA certificate for all our Moissanite. BDNY Diamond certificate is only available by request before we ship your order.
